My son, Adri’el Degillo Peterson, a minor of 5 years old, was kidnapped from me by his mother without a court order, without legal grounds, and without due process. He has now been missing from my care for nearly 3 months. This is a direct violation of Philippine Family Code and basic human decency. The systems meant to protect him—DSWD, Barangay Sacsac, and Bacong Police—have instead enabled his concealment.

If you have seen Adri’el, know his whereabouts, or have any information, please contact me immediately.

  • Article 211: Parental authority is joint. The father’s decision prevails unless a court says otherwise.
  • Article 213: Custody decisions must be made by a court. No institution has the legal right to reassign custody without this.

There is NO LAW that automatically gives custody to the mother under age 7. That doctrine was removed in 1987.
